High elevation, cool nights, and warm days produce the dense bean structure and vibrant acidity that defines great Kenyan coffee. Fully ripe cherries are handpicked daily, carefully sorted, washed, and sun-dried on raised beds. The resulting cup is light-bodied and bright—with notes of grapefruit, peach, honey, and a sweet citrus finish.

Murang’a, Kenya

The Karurumo Factory in Murang'a County works with over 500 smallholder farmers, cultivating SL28, SL34, and Ruiru 11 varieties at 1,600–1,800 meters above sea level in rich red volcanic soil. Many of the farmers harvest just a few hundred coffee trees alongside food crops on small family farms. Fully ripe cherries are handpicked and delivered daily to the factory for processing which are then carefully sorted, washed and then sun-dried on raised beds.
